Account deletion and data management
Whery gives you control over your account and personal information. Review what you can manage and what happens when you delete your account.
Manage your information
In Whery, you can edit your profile photo, name, team, biography, and password.
You can also edit or delete events and places you have published, using the controls available in the app.
The email address associated with your account cannot currently be changed from within the app.
Delete your account permanently
Account deletion is permanent. Before confirming, review the information below about your published content.
- Open Whery.
- Go to Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Select “Delete my account”.
- Follow the instructions on screen and confirm deletion.
What happens to your data?
Deleting your account removes your Whery account and the personal and account-linked data handled by the deletion process, such as profile information, favorites, and participations.
Some content you previously published, such as events, may remain available after your account is deleted. When retained, this content is no longer associated with your deleted Whery account. Media attached to those events may also remain.
Before deleting your account
Review, edit, or delete any events and places you have published that you no longer want available before permanently deleting your account. Some published events may remain after account deletion.
Need help?
If you cannot access your account or need help with account or data deletion, contact Whery support. You can request deletion by email, without signing in or installing the app.
Use the subject “Account deletion request” or “Data deletion request” and include the email address associated with your Whery account.
